What are the prerequisites for the IDC?+

You must be a PADI Divemaster, at least 18 years old, certified for six months and have 60 logged dives to start the IDC (100 to attend the Instructor Examination).

Is accommodation included?+

We offer flexible accommodation packages ranging from shared candidate apartments to private studios within walking distance of the dive centre.

How long does it take to become a PADI Instructor?+

From qualified Divemaster to certified OWSI you should plan for around three weeks (IDC + IE). Career packages from Open Water take 3–6 months.

Do you help with job placement?+

Yes. Our alumni network spans dive centres across the Canaries, Mediterranean, Red Sea and South-East Asia. We actively help match new instructors with the right operators.
